The analytics function your leadership team actually trusts. Whether you're building one or strengthening the team you have.

When there's no data function yet, I build it and own it until your team can. When you already have a team, I join it as a senior analyst, you keep the roadmap, and I take the hard problems off your plate. Same senior operator, day one to year four.

About

Ships, fixes, ships again.

I take fractional data engagements with three kinds of company. Some have a strong data team and need senior firepower on the hard problems. Some have a team but no senior owner yet. Others have almost no data setup and lose hours every week to manual spreadsheet work, and I come in as an embedded data lead to automate it. Past roles include fractional Head of Data, Lead Data Specialist, and Lead Product Analyst.

What I'm good at is taking the messy state of your data, the spreadsheets nobody trusts, the dashboards everyone ignores, the KPIs that mean four different things, and turning it into a system the executive team relies on, with the manual pulls and reconciliations automated into pipelines that run on their own. Then I use it to answer the product questions behind the decisions: which behaviours predict retention, whether an experiment beat its control, and where the funnel leaks. Picking the right tooling is the easy half. The change management is the harder half. I do both.

More about me

How I work

Ways to work together.

Start with an assessment, then a fixed project, an ongoing retainer, or an AI and automation build.

Scope & roadmap

Short term, typically under a month

A short, focused review of what you have and what's working. You leave with a written, prioritised plan you can act on or take to your team.

Includes

  • An assessment of your stack and data
  • Several options and recommendations to weigh up
  • Tool-agnostic advice; I'm not partnered with any vendor
  • A prioritised plan with rough costs, and an MVP if a build makes sense

Best for: everyone. The best way to start working together.

Fixed project

A well-scoped build

A defined build, scoped up front, then built, documented, and handed over.

Can be

  • A data warehouse built
  • Data pipelines and automations set up
  • A dashboard built out
  • A one-off analysis
  • AI agents and AI solutions

Best for: a defined piece of work you want built and handed over.

Retainer

Ongoing, two ways to work

An ongoing relationship, typically 2 to 4 days a week. Booking from Q4 2026.

Need the numbers before then? A Scope or Fixed project can get you started sooner.

Includes

  • I run your analytics function as a fractional lead, often for smaller companies
  • Or I act as a senior analyst embedded in your team, while you keep the roadmap
  • Product analytics, one-off analysis, and AB testing
  • Mentoring and AI building included

Best for: ongoing senior analytics, fractional or embedded.

AI & automation

On a model you trust

Agents that draft the reporting, run the reconciliations, and answer what a metric means, grounded in the model and definitions I build.

Includes

  • Reports that draft themselves
  • Agents that reconcile overnight
  • Data workflows and small app builds
  • Built into your stack and maintained

Best for: teams who want AI on their data they can trust.

See the AI layer

When a project needs a skill I don't carry, or the timeline is genuinely tight, I bring in operators from a network I trust, and only ever with your agreement first. I stay accountable for everything, and you never deal with anyone but me.

AI & automation

AI that does the work, on a foundation that holds. Grounded in the model and definitions I maintain, so you can defend every answer.

These agents draft the board write-up, reconcile last night's load, and answer questions in plain language, all running on the metric definitions, the taxonomy, and the model I build and maintain. That is why the answers reconcile with the board pack, instead of a confident number nobody can defend.

Assisted reporting. Board commentary and recurring write-ups drafted from your actuals, tied back to the model. You review and ship.

Operational agents. Nightly reconciliation and anomaly alerts that fire before the meeting, built against the same definitions.

Living documentation. A copilot over the semantic layer, so a metric means one thing and a new hire onboards in days.

How I handle your data

In your environment

I work inside your cloud. Your data is not copied out, and my access is granted for the engagement and revoked when it ends.

Pinned to your region

Processing stays in the region you choose, EU, UK, or wherever you operate, on infrastructure you own, under the rules that apply to you. Your data stays in your cloud regardless of where I am registered.

NDA and DPA first

Signed before any access, which is least-privilege and time-boxed. Happy to complete your security questionnaire.
